In a prop bet with a friend.

OK so was chatting wit a friend and he doesn't think that i can start from $10.00 and build a bankroll within 3 months. I have $100.00 on this prop bet. I will track my progress daily and within 3 months hopefully be able to have a bankroll to play 10nl comfortably. He thinks that micro limits is a crap shoot and all based on luck. I am going to prove him wrong. I will be grinding cash games and playing freerolls and the daily dollar to build a roll. Also i have rakeback which is going to help wit build a BR. I am not allowed to redeposit. I think the biggest challege for me is going to be patience enough to break the $100.00. Well here is a screen shot of my current bankroll. I transfered all my funds to my buddies account and was just allowed to keep $10.00 and whatever change was there also.
So have until 7/20/2010 to reach a bankroll of 250+ to be able to play 10nl.

April Goals

My goals for this month is going to be post more hand on cardschat in the HA section. Continue to play 6 max cash games and work my way up to .05/.10 by the end of the month. I will also play tourneys when i have time and i want to make another final table when the field is over 250 players. If i can find time record a video of me playing 4 tables wit audio to have critiqued from cardschat members.

Sorry i haven't been keeping up with the blog. I actually went busto awhile back. I deposited $10.00 on 4/12/10 late in the night. It cleared on the 4/13/10. Here is the actual proof of how much i deposited and when.So right after i deposited i joined a tourney for $2.20 a 6 max tourney with 278 players in it and after roughly 4 hours i placed second for a 86.18 cash. That truly helped my bankroll out with a nice boost.After that have been playing 6 max cash games following the BR management i discuss earlier in another post. I have been playing a mix of holdem and PLO. I have been running really good and playing very well. Update on current BR..

Sorry i havent been playing to much been really busy with life and the family. I played a lil here and there but just again really started to play. I am still playing the shallow stacks to build a nice bankroll so that i can really get back into the limit that i was at. Also i tried to satellite into a few tourneys using ftp points but was unable to achieve it. U will see my ftp points is almost cut in half but thats why. Update on current BR..

Well todays session was a very descent one. I was playing 6 max shallow stacks holdem and PLO. Also got a 8 buck from rakeback today. So i am currently sitting on almost 23 bucks. I might just continue to play the shallow stacks for a lil longer since i am having such good success with it. Well here is a screen shot of current BR.
Well i hope to continue my success and build my bankroll back up to where it was before tilting it off at 25nl. I was thinking about making some videos along the way to maybe help ppl struggling at these micro limits. Look out for some future videos and possible some stragety articles.

How to mod full tilt tables..

Hey i made this quick video to help anyone with how to mod the full tilt tables. I showed a Mario theme that i am using on tilt that changed avatar, cards, chips, and the tables. Its just a quick video to help people put the files in the right spot so that they show up properly when playing on full tilt.

Update on current BR..

I havent been playing to much. I maybe put in like 45 minutes or so of 4 tables shallow stacks and won roughly about 2 bucks so far. I will post a screenshot of current bankroll also i should get some money from rakeback. I will also post on that later tomorrow after the days session tomorrow.

Bankroll Management

So i am back grinding away at 2nl. I recently went pretty much broke from tilting a ton of money off. I have like 3 bucks and some change and going to try and grind myself back to somewhat of a bankroll. I am going to play the shallow stacks for awhile until i get roughly like 25 bucks or so and than start to play the regular buy in for 2nl. The bankroll management that i am going to follow is going to be the one Chris Ferguson used when doing 0 to 10,000. Here it the bankroll management that i will follow.

• I never bought into a cash game or a Sit & Go for more than 5 percent of my bankroll; the only exception was at the lowest limits: I'm allowed to buy into any game with a buy-in of $2.50 or less
• I don't buy into any multi-table tournaments for more than 2 percent of my bankroll; the only exception is $1 MTTs
• If at any time during a No-Limit or Pot-Limit cash-game session the money on the table represented more than 10 percent of my total bankroll, I will leave the game when the blinds reached me
  

I will keep posting as often as possible with progress of my bankroll.
